What is World Wellbeing Week?

This week is the fifth annual World Wellbeing Week, this awareness week celebrates all areas of wellbeing from meaningful and purposeful work, to financial security as well as physical mental and emotional health.

Why we believe in wellbeing at work

How do we get involved?

Our team’s wellbeing is at the heart of the company. We work hard to do everything possible to support them and work in an environment that promotes wellbeing. Initiated and led by CEO of the Year, Jo Redfern Evans, Cubed has an in-house wellbeing committee comprised of members from every team within the company. They lead and organise a multitude of initiatives, including:

  • Quarterly anonymous surveys, which include questions such as ‘What makes you happy at work?’
  • Office yoga
  • Cubed Roundtable discussions – these talks centre around diversity, aiming to develop open conversation amongst the team
  • Monthly Bake-Off and Quiz
  • Fortnightly themed Lunch Clubs
  • Quarterly all-team events (including a Christmas Trip away!)

We recognise the importance of prioritising the health and wellbeing of our team and offer wellbeing initiatives to enable employees to access internal and external support services, including a company-wide employee healthcare plan and an in-house team of mental health first aiders. Our in-house Mental Health First Aiders have completed a Mental Health First Aid course with MHFA England, covering many forms of mental and physical health issues. So, for any of our staff feeling down, stressed, or even just in need of a listening ear, there are trained colleagues available online or in the office, ready for a friendly chat. In addition to offering specific wellbeing benefits, we are dedicated to creating a happy workplace environment through other means:
