An opportunity has arisen to join our growing team as an Account Manager. Working alongside a Client Partner and a Senior Account Manager across our client portfolio, you’ll act as an important link between Education Cubed, its clients and the third party providers we work with. You will strive to understand your client’s goals, managing day-to-day affairs and ensuring customer satisfaction. You’ll also assist with the tendering process and new business research.


As an Account Manager at Education Cubed, you’ll need to:
  • Meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements
  • Devise advertising campaigns that meet the client’s brief and budget
  • Present the campaign ideas and budget to the client
  • Work with the Client Partner and Senior Account Manager to brief media, creative and research staff and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies
  • Liaise regularly with clients and communicate effectively with internal agency teams
  • Ensure that communication flows effectively
  • Negotiate with clients and third party media about the details of campaigns
  • Handle budgets, manage campaign costs and invoice clients
  • Write client performance reports
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Arrange and attend in-person meetings around the country
  • Develop pitches, along with other agency staff, with the aim of securing new business for the agency


You’ll need to show evidence of the following:
  • A solid understanding of digital advertising, and PPC, social campaigns
  • Minimum two years agency experience
  • Experience working in the Higher Education and Youth sector
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative and be flexible
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Drive and determination
  • Effective teamworking skills
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • A passion for advertising and an understanding of what makes a good advertisement
  • A willingness to learn
  • IT literacy and an awareness of how the industry is developing in light of new communication technologies


Although this position is open to all graduates, a degree or HND in the following subjects would be favoured:
